At MLP VISUALS, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information and unreleased intellectual property you entrust to our studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our website, booking portal, and your galleries.

Your Images are Your Property: MLP VISUALS will never share, sell, distribute, or view your unreleased image files, RAW batches, or session data outside the explicit scope of producing your project. Your work remains strictly confidential.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information

When you create a Client Account or book a session, we collect identifiable information required to service your account, including:

Full Name and Client / Brand Name
Email address and Phone number (for SMS confirmations)
Social media handles (optional, for profile linking)

B. Payment Data

All credit card transactions, deposits, and invoice payments are processed securely via our third-party payment processor (Stripe). MLP VISUALS does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card numbers or bank details on our servers.

C. Image & Gallery Data

When you upload reference images, or when our studio team uploads proofs, retouched selects, or RAW session files to your personal galleries, those files are stored on our secure AWS cloud infrastructure. These files are strictly tied to your authenticated user account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We only use your information to provide and improve the MLP VISUALS studio experience:

To schedule, confirm, and manage your studio sessions.
To grant you secure access to your galleries and your image files.
To send you SMS and email notifications regarding your session status, outstanding invoices, and new gallery deliverables.
To handle customer support, scheduling conflicts, and technical issues.

3. Data Retention

Due to the massive storage requirements of professional photography and retouching, we have specific retention policies for your gallery data:

Heavy Files: RAW batches, layered PSD files, and full-resolution session files are stored for 6 months after your session date. After 6 months, these files will be permanently deleted from our servers.
Finals & Proofs: Final high-resolution JPG or TIFF images will remain in your galleries indefinitely, provided your Client Account remains active.
Account Deletion: If you choose to delete your MLP VISUALS account via your Settings page, all personal data, session history, and gallery files will be permanently erased within 30 days.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

MLP VISUALS does not sell or rent your personal information to marketers or third parties. We only share necessary data with trusted service providers to operate the studio, such as:

Stripe: For secure payment processing.
Twilio: For sending OTP login codes and SMS booking reminders.

5. Security

We implement robust, industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and intellectual property. Your galleries utilize secure, authenticated URLs that prevent unauthorized users from downloading your images. Access to the Admin Dashboard is strictly limited to active MLP VISUALS studio and management staff.

6. SMS / Text Messaging

As part of operating the studio, MLP VISUALS uses SMS (text messaging), delivered through our messaging provider (Twilio), to service your account and your bookings.

A. Types of Messages We Send

We send only transactional, account-related text messages, including:

One-time passcodes (OTP) for secure login and identity verification
Booking confirmations and schedule changes
Session reminders ahead of your studio time
Deposit and payment notifications

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

B. Consent

By creating an account, providing your mobile phone number, or booking a session, you consent to receive the transactional text messages described above at the number you provide. You will receive approximately 2-6 messages per booked session.

C. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. MLP VISUALS does not charge a fee for text messages, but your carrier's standard rates will apply.

D. Opting Out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. We will send a single confirmation message and then stop sending texts to that number. To resume, reply START. For help, reply HELP or contact [email protected]. Please note that opting out of security messages such as one-time login passcodes may prevent you from signing in, as these codes are required to access your account.

E. Privacy of Your Mobile Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number is shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio) strictly to deliver the transactional messages described above, and with no one else.
